A Little Bit About Me

I am originally from Charleston, South Carolina and attended Charleston Day School for first through eighth grade. I grew up in downtown Charleston and some of my fondest memories are riding my bike to school, playing on various sports teams, and enjoying everything the low country has to offer. I am so lucky to call such an amazing city my home.

After my eighth grade year, I went to Episcopal High School, a boarding school in Alexandria, Virginia, right outside Washington, DC. Despite many “oh your parents sent you to boarding school?” comments, Episcopal provided me with countless, exceptional opportunities. Boarding school was a unique experience as I was immersed in a diverse community with people from distinctive towns, states, and even countries. It was here where I developed a deeper sense of both confidence and independence.

I am now a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill double-majoring in Media Journalism (Advertising and Public Relations) and Political Science. I am also a member of the sorority, Chi Omega. The connections I have made through my classes and sorority have thoroughly increased my network and provided me with job opportunities as well as lifelong relationships. The people I have met and experiences I have had in Charleston, Alexandria, and Chapel Hill have shaped me into the person I am today.
